2026 Annual Meeting Accredited Activity Statement

May 14-17, 2026, Hyatt Regency Orlando, Florida

Target Audience: Pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and other providers seeking to apply recent research to patient care and antimicrobial stewardship. 

 

Overall Conference Learning Objectives: 

  • Identify emerging antimicrobial stewardship priorities and challenges.  

  • Explain developments in antibiotics and diagnostics for common infectious diseases.  

  • Apply recent research to patient care and antimicrobial stewardship 

 

Accreditation: 

Learners can claim Continuing Education credit via activity evaluation within 30 days of the meeting. Learners are required to complete the General Evaluation and session-specific evaluations. All evaluations will close on June 17, 2026 after which MAD-ID will upload credits for pharmacy learners to CE Monitor (NABP) and issue certificates via email. Pharmacists must provide their DOB (mm/dd) and NABP EPID number to claim pharmacy credit. CE Statements of Credit for non-pharmacists and for non-US licensed pharmacists, if requested via the evaluation form, will be provided via email within 4 weeks of the CE deadline. Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE)​

This activity is jointly provided by Making a Difference in Infectious Diseases (MAD-ID) and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). MAD-ID is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  

This live CE activity is approved for a maximum of 22.75 contact hours (2.275 CEUs) in states that recognize ACPE providers. Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

 

CPE Credit will be awarded at the session level based on completion of online session evaluations by the 30-day deadline. CPE credits will be reported to the CPE Monitor/NABP e-Profile system online within four weeks after the MAD-ID Program Evaluation/CE Credit Claim website closes. To learn more about CPE Monitor and establish your NABP e-Profile, visit www.nabp.pharmacy. Per ACPE requirements, CPE credit must be posted within 60 days of being earned. Participants are responsible for verifying credits were transferred successfully to your NABP eProfile account before the ACPE 60-day deadline. After the 60 day deadline, MAD-ID will no longer be able to report your credit(s) for this activity.

Continuing Medical Education (CPE) Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Making a Difference in Infectious Diseases (MAD-ID) and Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). MAD-ID is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
