Hotel Accomodations
There are several hotels in the Orlando area close to the MAD-ID hotel and we understand the inclination to look for the best rates. However, by staying at the official MAD-ID hotel you will help support this and future MAD-ID programs, keeping registration costs down for everyone and maintaining high-quality programming.
We have a special room block reserved at the Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate from May 6-12, 2024 at a negotiated rate of $197 single/double occupancy plus 14.5% tax. Rooms are available at the MAD-ID group rate until April 15th, (or sooner if room block is filled prior to that date). After April 15th, rooms are subject to the prevailing rate and availability at the hotel. The cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a one-night room penalty fee. All no-shows are subject to a one-night penalty fee.

The following meal functions will be included for attendees of the 26th Annual MAD-ID Meeting:

Continental Breakfast on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and all scheduled breaks including the Scientific Poster Session on Thursday and the Exhibitor Reception on Friday
Please note that your registration fee does not cover your incidental expenses or expenses of a spouse or guest, including their travel, hotel room or meals. All meal functions are for the program participants only.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is located 30 minutes away from the Orlando International Airport. Upon arrival at Orlando Airport, Uber and Lyft are available on the 2nd level of Terminal A & B with a cost of approximately $40-50 one way depending on the time of day.
If you choose to take a taxi, please be advised that the average cost is approximately $75 one way.
