Tell us about your PROGRAM

The ID-PGY2 at DUH is designed to give broad exposure to clinical care across all range of ages and immune status, program management, and research in infectious diseases.  Rotations will be offered in the inpatient, ambulatory care, and consultative settings. 

What makes your program UNIQUE?

Exposure to care for patients across the age spectrum and inclusive of all transplant types.  Additionally, DUH provides exposure to a robust academic stewardship program and DASON to consultative stewardship services. 

What opportunities are there for RESEARCH and QUALITY IMPROVEMENT in your program?

Residents have access to staff statisticians and multidisciplinary trial design support to develop a robust research project.  Quality improvement opportunities are available throughout the year as the resident has capacity. 

What QUALITIES are you looking for in a successful trainee?

Eagerness to learn, clear communication skills, and good time management.
